Benefits
How is eSight Go different from other devices on the market?
eSight Go is an assistive wearable device designed to enhance your vision. Unlike other wearable devices and smart glasses that use things like AI to communicate what you can’t see, Augmented Reality to interact with surroundings and simple magnification, eSight Go actually enhances your vision to help you see past your central “blind spots” to view what’s there. eSight Go uses a high res camera to capture your field of view (and the central part of your vision you can’t see). The footage is instantly enhanced, optimized and then presented on two near-to-eye OLED screens. Your brain synthesizes the images, filling the gaps in your vision to help you see more clearly what’s there in real time. With additional features like contrast and color filters, eSight Go can further enhance the viewing experience for your particular eye condition.
What can people see when they use eSight Go?
eSight Go enhances central vision – what people can see in front of them (their field of view). For people with low vision and those considered legally blind, eSight Go can provide clearer, sharper vision so they can more clearly see and engage in the world around them.
What can people do when they wear eSight Go?
With eSight Go, people with central vision loss can start to do things they may have lost the ability to do – such as read, watch TV, recognize faces and more. eSight Go can also help people retain their mobility and independence to do activities like grocery shopping, run errands, watch sporting events and theatre, travel, socialize and more. With eSight Go, people can get back to doing the things they love to do.
What will I see when I wear eSight Go?
eSight Go enhances your central vision, it does not replace vision that is lost. With central vision loss, the middle of your vision is blocked with what people commonly refer to as “blind spots.” eSight Go helps to shrink these blind spots, letting you see more clearly what is right in front of you.
